We identified that the best way to accomplish our vision of Saturating our community with the love of Christ was through our group ministries which we call Gospel Centered Communities (or GoCCo’s for short) .

The New Testament church had regular rhythms of meeting in the Synagogue (the church gathered) and in homes (the church scattered). At Faith Community Church we’ve taken this pattern and adopted it for our context. We gather on Sunday  mornings in a dynamic worship service where we proclaim the kingdom of God and respond in song and prayer. And we also scatter throughout the week to our homes in groups we call Gospel Centered Communities.

Gospel Centered Communities is not just a hip new way to describe a typical small group or bible study. We see them as the local expressions of church, or beacons of love, in our neighborhoods. Gospel Centered Communities are gatherings of 10-20 people who meet regularly in homes to connect with God (UP), connect with each other (IN), and bring others into those two UP/IN relationships (OUT).

Each GoCCo meets in a specific neighborhood to learn how to grow and mature as disciples of Jesus on mission together in a particular area. Our vision is to unleash an underground network of Christian communities into our neighborhoods to proclaim and witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
